IT'S BEEN A week. We adopted a young tabby cat on Sunday, and she came home on Wednesday. Her name is Rosie and she is "one sedate cat," as Chad put it. She is very gentle and sweet, just the distraction we need right now.

I'll return to the longer format next week. Enjoy this cold and wet November weather! Great excuse for staying inside and snuggling with a little cat.
